Reporting ‘Near Misses’ at an all-time high, as we continue to drive a positive safety culture.

Driving a positive safety culture here at CDS is paramount to our on-site delivery strategy. We continuously engage with our workforce to educate them on important safety issues and encourage the reporting of near misses to reduce accidents on site.

Reporting a ‘Near Miss’ helps to establish safe practices within the workplace, as well giving us valuable information to ensure we can communicate relevant safety facts, causes and corrective actions to avoid/prevent future accidents and injuries, and continuously improve our safety culture.

Last month we received a record number of near misses reported into our safety team. This is a real indicator that our site staff and contractors are fully aware of safety on site and as a team we are continuously reducing the risk of accidents and injuries.
