Bringing to life a brand new store concept using off-site solutions
THE BRIEF
We were asked to take an existing store within Weston Favell Shopping Centre and deliver the latest Specsavers design specification. This store is now a flagship store, showcasing the new design to other stores.
OUR APPROACH
Collaborative planning, lean off-site construction
We worked collaboratively between the project and off-site team to ensure the programme was delivered as efficient as possible, whilst keeping minimal disruption to the store. We worked to a tight deadline for delivery prior to Christmas.
All works were completed on nights, this ensured the works had minimal effect on the trading store. A comprehensive phasing plan was created and agreed with the store manager before works commenced, this ensured we had open communications throughout minimising any issues or delays.
THE OUTCOMES
Through effective collaborative planning and lean construction techniques we delivered this project on time and to a high standard within 6 nights.
Our proactive approach resulted in less waste and best value for our client without compromising on quality, safety, or performance. The success of this project resulted in repeat business.
